How Ride A Pet Works
The developer describes the loop in three lines: find eggs around the map, hatch rarer and faster pets so you can reach rarer eggs, and mutate your pets to go even faster. Servers hold up to six players, and the game runs on desktop, console, mobile and tablet. Everything on this site hangs off that loop: where the eggs are, which pets are worth riding, and what each rebirth asks for.
Speed is the stat that drives everything else. The rarest eggs are announced to the whole server the moment they spawn, and because every server holds only a handful of players, the race is usually decided by who is riding the fastest mount and who already knows the search zones. Income, the second stat printed on a pet label, decides how quickly your plot pays for radars and for the cash half of each rebirth. Almost every decision in the game comes back to those two numbers.

Guides and Tools
Each guide below is built on the same rule: a number appears only after we have read it in-game ourselves or a named source has published it, and the label next to it tells you which. Start with eggs if you are new, the calculator if you already own a few pets, and rebirth once your plot is earning.
Eggs & Spawn Locations
Every egg by luck, which ones are announced server-wide, and the exact zones to search when the alert appears.
Pets & Value List
How to get each pet, what it is needed for, and the income and speed readings we have taken from our own pets' labels.
Pet Calculator
Type in the income and run time from your own pets and see which one to ride for egg runs and which one to park on your plot.
Rebirth Requirements
The pet and cash each rebirth level asks for, so you know what to chase before you commit.
Codes
The honest status of codes, checked after every update, with any working code listed the moment it exists.
Tier List
Compare your current pets by income and same-route run time using your own readings.
Wiki
Pets, eggs, rebirth, selling and gifting explained in plain English, with the source for every claim.
Start Here: Your First Session
- Ride and collect. Pick up every common egg you pass. Early hatches are how you get a pet that is faster than the one you started with, and speed is what unlocks everything after that.
- Register before you sell. The Index pays cash the first time you register each new pet and egg. Open it after every hatch session and clear the new entries before selling any duplicate.
- Park your best earner. The pet on your plot earns the income on its label while you play. Put the highest-income pet there, not the rarest one; the two are often different animals.
- Learn the search zones. The announced eggs spawn in a small, shared set of places. Walk them once while nothing is up, so that when the alert appears you are already moving in the right direction. The zones are on the eggs page.
- Check the next rebirth early. Each level asks for a specific pet plus ranch cash. Knowing the pet in advance tells you which egg to hunt and whether it costs map time or Robux. The requirements are on the rebirth page.
A good first hour looks like this: a few common hatches, one trip around the announced-egg zones while the server is quiet, the Index cleared, and a decision about which pet stays on the plot. None of that needs a rare pet or Robux. Once the plot is earning and you know where the alerts point, the game turns into a series of races you can actually win, and the rest of this site is about winning more of them.
What Is on Record
The data behind these pages currently covers 24 map eggs listed by luck and 1 shop egg, of which 4 are announced server-wide when they spawn; 8 search zones for those announced eggs; 9 pets; and 2 rebirth levels. Every entry carries its own source and date. Where we have not read a value yet, the page says so instead of filling the gap with a guess.
Two labels appear across the site. Verified in-game by us means a member of the team opened the game and read the value from the screen on the date shown. Reported means a named third-party source published it on the date shown and we have not yet confirmed it ourselves. A reported value is a reasonable plan, not a promise; live Roblox games change their numbers between updates, so we keep the label until we have seen it.
Income and speed figures follow an even stricter rule. A pet label shows the reading for that individual pet, and two pets of the same kind can differ, so we never publish a species average. We show the exact readings from pets we own, and once we have read more than one we show the range rather than a single number. The calculator exists so you can compare your own pets from your own labels instead of trusting ours.
Quick Answers
- Is there trading in Ride A Pet?
- No. There is no trade window and no way to send a trade request. You can gift shop items to players in your server and sell your own hatched pets for cash, but hatched pets cannot be exchanged between players.
- Are there any working codes?
- Not yet. The game has no codes menu, so there is nowhere to enter one. We re-check after every update and list codes the day they work.
- Where do the rare eggs spawn?
- The announced eggs share 8 known search zones around the map, and a server-wide alert tells you when one is up. The zones, with directions from a landmark, are on the eggs page.
- Which pet should I ride?
- For egg runs, your fastest pet; for earning while you play, the pet with the highest income on its label, parked on your plot. The calculator compares your own pets from the numbers on their labels.
- What does the first rebirth need?
- Rebirth 1 asks for a Horse and $1,000,000 in ranch cash. That requirement is reported by a third party and not yet verified by us; the full table is on the rebirth page.
- How many people are playing right now?
- The counter at the top of this page reads the live player count from Roblox’s public API, refreshed hourly. If the API is unavailable the counter is hidden rather than showing a stale number.
